I recently took a trip to South Mumbai and decided to stay in a cozy hostel for a change. Located just a casual stroll from the bustling beach, it’s certainly an interesting spot for cultural immersion. The room I booked had a lovely blend of privacy thanks to the individual bed blinds and comfortable cabins, making it surprisingly agreeable for a female dormitory. The bathrooms were well-maintained, which really impressed me, given my preference for cleanliness. The presence of a nearby currency exchange was particularly convenient for travelers like me who appreciate a secure way to handle finances. While the hostel boasted a friendly vibe, with evening gatherings and communal movie nights, there were a few quirks worth mentioning. Some aspects, like the staff’s sleeping arrangements on mattress surfaces without covers, left a bit to be desired. It was a fitting place to explore the local culture while balancing comfort and budget.
